**Mantarray: A Rising Force in the UK Music Scene**
Mantarray brings infectious energy to their high-octane performances. Originating from the West Midlands and having grown up together, the band showcases a powerful and dynamic chemistry on stage.
Frontman Tommy Reading delivers vocals and lyrics that embody raw edge, vulnerability, and passion throughout the band’s music. Alongside instrumentalists Maddie Holtby on bass and Matt Hall on drums, they create strong momentum and a distinctive sound in their songs. Kieran Beech’s lead guitar features anthemic, distorted hooks that define Mantarray’s musical identity. Drawing inspiration from alternative rock, grunge, and garage punk, the band produces fast-paced, in-your-face songs that captivate their audiences. They are sure to appeal to fans of bands like Foals, Wunderhorse, and early Arctic Monkeys.
Having made their mark on Birmingham’s music scene, Mantarray has built a dedicated and passionate fanbase. They have sold out numerous shows across the UK, including performances in Brighton, Manchester, Birmingham, and London. The band has supported artists such as The Guestlist and Delights, and more recently, they opened the new fan zone for Birmingham City Football Club at a sold-out event at St. Andrews Stadium. In 2023, they reached the finals of the Isle of Wight Festival’s New Blood competition, impressing both judges and crowds among 5,000 competing bands.
